Pelin Alpay

After graduating from Yeditepe University Psychology Department in 2013, Pelin Alpay was entitled to study at Bangor University Clinical and Health Psychology Department and successfully completed her master's degree in 2016. Between 2016 and 2017, he worked with people with cognitive and physical disabilities as a mental health worker in a state-run rehabilitation center in Wales. He moved to Budapest in 2018 and started his doctoral studies on Clinical Psychology and Addiction Science at Eötvös Lorand University with a 'Stipendium Hungaricum' state scholarship. He has also started Cognitive and Behavior Therapy training, which is carried out according to EABCT standards. By successfully completing the theory and supervision modules in 2022, he was entitled to receive the training certificate recognized by the European Association of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies. He started seeing clients during his therapy training and is currently seeing clients online. At the same time, he continues his research on Personality Disorders and Alcohol/Substance Use as a PhD candidate and writes his thesis in this field. He has also taught undergraduate students in previous academic terms.
